AFTER weeks of letting her outfits do the talking, Lady GaGa has spoken about the assertion in many sections of the media that she is "the new Madonna".
"We're both Italian-American women, we both started out in the New York underground scene - and we both became famous when we dyed our hair blonde," she observes. But the similarities run deeper than that according to the popstrel's assistant.
"She's the next Madonna - I'm telling you. The determination, that knowledge of who you are, who you want and what the people want. That's her," she told The Sunday Times.
"I think what Madonna and I share is that we are both fearless," GaGa confesses. "We both have a lot of nerve." If nothing else she definitely possesses Madonna's deadpan sense of humour. When asked about her body image she quips, "I don't get body anxiety - I don't eat."
