POP newcomer Lady GaGa certainly knew how to please her fans when she put on an intimate show in Liverpool.
But off stage she threw a diva-like tantrum about having her photograph taken.
The Just Dance singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Germanotta, had a “hissy fit” and insisted on leaving Newz Bar in Water Street by a different exit to escape the paparazzi.
Wearing her trademark dark glasses, the grammy-nominated star hid her face as she left the celebrity haunt after performing five songs until 2am on Saturday.
The 22-year-old American had supported US girl group the Pussycat Dolls a few hours earlier at the ECHO arena.
She told fans with camera phones, “You lovely people can take photos.”
Lady GaGa, who knocked Alexandra Burke off the top of the UK singles chart last month, said she would have loved to do some Beatles covers, and gushed: “I love you Liverpool. How does it feel to be descendants of the greatest rock and roll band in history? The Beatles, amazing.”
